The terracotta sunscreens consider different types of products: from those with linear development to those shaped in blocks and ‘perforated’ by different geometries. The former are used as external (or internal) ‘venetian blinds’, with a horizontal or vertical pattern according to the architectural choices; the latter as staggered or sister blocks to create walls permeable to sight and air.
In spite of the name, the terracotta sunshading are not simple elements of shielding and shading. In fact, they can be used as cladding for façades, false ceilings, parapets, fences, see-through partitions in interiors and exteriors.
