this texture offers a light hammering that scratches the surface of the terracotta like a drizzle, creating small irregular and consistent concavities that again bring the shadow inside the element. While sandblasting produces a three-dimensionality protruding from the surface of the element, the orange peel is literally a widespread and dense hollow as in the fruit. Like all textures, this one also introduces a variation of surface and color that are particularly suitable for integrating imperfection, understood as virtue and value, into the surface.
